Weekend Services at EP

In-Person Worship: Saturdays at 4 p.m. and Sundays at 9 and 11 a.m.

Each weekend we gather for in-person worship services in the Sanctuary. The Saturday gathering starts at 4 p.m. and the Sunday gatherings start at 9 and 11 a.m. We also provide our online worship service on Sunday morning, which is a recording of our Saturday service, available through our Facebook page and Vimeo page. Use the sign-up link below to sign up for one of the services. The deadline to sign up is 45 minutes prior to the start of the worship service. We encourage you to read through the detailed guidelines below as you prepare to worship in person.

Online Worship Service

Though we are meeting in person for worship in limited numbers, we want to continue to serve members of our family who choose to worship online. Please follow the buttons below for our online services.

Here are some of our upcoming, church-wide events

Pray First

We are praying on the first Sunday of each month from 6-7 p.m. and all are invited to join us—virtually, of course. We are focusing on God’s glory and His work in our church, our community, our nation, and our world during this life-changing time in history. We invite you to click here to join us via our Zoom meeting, and if that option isn’t for you, consider inviting others to pray on the phone, Facetime, Skype—or whatever works best for you. The Holy Spirit can overcome any physical obstacles we now face by uniting us as the Body of Christ in spirit through prayer. If you would like more information on the Pray First Prayer Guide we provide each week, or if you have any other questions or would like to be added to our Pray First email list, then please contact Brian Miller at [email protected] or 443-889-1476.

West Annapolis Pop Up Pantry

West Annapolis Pop Up Pantry and the Center for Help are working together to help those in our community during these difficult times. Each week, after our Thursday deliveries take place, we need your help restocking for the following week. Amy Marshall is helping to coordinate this great opportunity. If you are available to help deliver food on Thursdays, please text 410-491-5070.

Come on out and volunteer Saturday mornings at the Pop Up Pantry. The volunteer crew is looking for helpers for set-up, donations, and clean up. Please contact Laurie Nelson, [email protected], for the link to view the schedule and sign-up.

Help is available for those experiencing the crisis of separation or divorce. DivorceCare is a weekly seminar and support group that will help you heal from the hurt. It’s a caring, safe environment led by people who understand what you are going through, where you can learn practical information and gain hope for your future. We will meet on Zoom on Thursdays from 7 to 9 p.m. each week starting September 10. Watch this introductory video and share this information with anyone who might benefit from this gospel-centered support group. Sign up here or contact Diane Schmincke for details.

EP’s October Blood Drive

On Wednesday, October 7, EP will host an Anne Arundel Medical Center Blood Drive to support our larger community. If you are between the ages of 17 and 74, a minimum of 110 pounds, and in good health, you are eligible to donate blood. Available time slots will be between 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Please plan to arrive in the Portico area ten minutes prior to your time to register. Plan for the whole process to take about one hour. Social distancing, masks, and other guidelines will remain in place as specified by the State of Maryland and the CDC. Please sign up for a time using our online form. For questions or more information please email Nanci Hulting or call at 410-507-0660.

Great Opportunity to Help Women and Children

Join us in partnering with the Pregnancy Clinic Ministry, which offers support and shares the love of Jesus with women and families facing unexpected pregnancies, giving them the hope they need to choose life. The Walk and Run for Life is an annual fundraising event for this ministry that is fun and family friendly! This year, we have opportunities to participate in-person and virtually. Register online here and join the EP Annapolis Life Striders team! All participants will receive a FundEasy fundraising page as part of registration and are encouraged to raise funds for the ministry. Please email Sophie McDowell with any questions.

Renew Groups for Fall 2020

Renew Fall 2020 is about to begin. We want you to join us as we begin our journey through the book of Acts, learning about the impact Jesus’s life, death, resurrection, and ascension had on the world and watching in amazement as the Holy Spirit’s power transforms the lives of men, women, and children in the early church. What implications do these truths have for us today? Join a Renew Group where you’ll be encouraged and challenged to live out your faith.

Renew pairs our sermon series with our small group study guides. On Saturdays and Sundays, our Pastors will preach through the book of Acts and Renew Groups will discuss the passages when they meet each week. Registration opens on September 11. Renew Groups begin the week of October 4 and will meet at church, in homes, or online. Watch for details. This is a great time to join a group.
