Pizza and Games Luncheon, Saturday, October 19

Seasoned by Grace is hosting Pizza and Games Luncheon on Saturday, October 19. Come enjoy a great time of eating pizza, salad, dessert, and playing your favorite board games together. Cost is $8 for all the pizza you can eat. We’ll begin at noon with lunch and then divide up into groups around the tables to play together. This event is open to everyone in the church who enjoys board games and fellowshipping with others. Bring a friend. Please sign up by Friday, October 18, using the link below. If you have questions, contact Tom Beall.

Pray First Monthly Prayer

Join us for Pray First the first Sunday of the month, from 6 to 7 p.m. in the Chapel as we pray for the Holy Spirit’s transforming work in us and through us as a church. We won’t meet in July, and our next meeting will be on October 6. We will be praying for the congregation, ministries of the church, leadership of the church, and outreach to the world around us. This is a wonderful opportunity to join as a church family and lift our voices to our Lord. Questions about how to participate? Contact Brian and Leigh Miller.

Chili Bowl Fall Fest

Join us for the Third Annual “EP Chili Bowl Fall Fest” on Sunday, November 3, from 4-7 p.m. Everyone is invited to this all-church event. We’ll cook chili, eat chili, and have some friendly culinary competition to pick a ‘chili champion’ who will take home the Golden Ladle award. We’ll take some time for outdoor games, indoor and outdoor fellowship, and fun by the fire pit. Please RSVP by Wednesday, October 30, and sign up to bring a pot of chili or other sides to share. Invite a friend to join you and sign up with the button below. If you have questions, contact Donna DeRoo.

EP Kids Choir

EP will have its very own kids Christmas choir this fall. Rehearsals will begin September 8 and go once a week until the beginning of December, when all the students’ hard work will culminate in a special Christmas performance. We will rehearse from 12:00-1:30 immediately after worship service on Sundays, learning traditional carols, tunes with a new twist, and what the Bible says about worship. (We might even dip our feet into music theory!) The deadline for registration is September 1st. Register your child at the button below. Email Anna McVae with any questions.

GriefShare Online Support Group

For those grieving the death of someone close, GriefShare is a Biblically-based 13-week series grief support group presented on-line via Zoom. This video seminar series features some of the nation’s foremost Christian experts on grief and recovery topics as seen from a Christ-centered, Biblical perspective. The video seminars are combined with support group discussion of the materials presented during the video and a helpful Participants Guide to encourage, comfort and help you after the loss of a loved one. Use the link below to sign up or contact Walt or Karen Asplund if you have questions.

‘Made for More’ PCA Women’s Conference at EP

On November 15-16, 2024, EP Church is hosting the ‘Made for More’ PCA Regional Conference for women. We can’t wait to open our doors and welcome women from all over our region to join us as we’ll see how God made us for more through our creation design, gospel identity, and inter-generational friendships. Together we’ll explore how satisfaction, significance, and sufficiency can only be found by seeking our Savior. We encourage women and girls (third grade and up) to join us. This conference is for ALL women—young, single, married, and “more seasoned,” as well as your treasured friends. So, gather the women in your circles, plan for a special weekend, and book your seats! For questions, please contact Cheryl Mullis.

Worship Hour Preschool Helpers

We would love to see everyone (ages 20s-70s) take just two weeks per year to help with the little ones during the 10:30 a.m. worship service. If you are ready to bless our families and be blessed yourself in the process, please view the openings and sign up with the button below or stop by the EP Kids table in the Foyer on Sundays. If you have questions, please contact Bridget Johnson.
