We’re here to care
Here are four ways we want to walk with you
Prayer
Whether you are sick, struggling with a life issue, or simply want prayer, we invite you to let us pray with you. We have two opportunities for you to join us in prayer.
Sunday Morning
Receive prayer from elders and their wives after the 9:15 and 11 a.m. services. If you would like a private, individual appointment for prayer, contact the Church Office by email or phone at 410-266- 8090.
Congregational Prayer
Finances
We understand that it may be difficult to ask for help when you are struggling financially. EP Church offers both direct assistance, as well as guidance to help you regain control of your finances.
Deacon’s Fund
If you are currently struggling to pay your bills or feed your family, the Deacons Fund may be able to help. Whatever the outcome, we will work with you to address your needs in a holistic way—body, mind, and spirit. To request assistance, visit the Church Office to complete a Request for Assistance form.
Financial Peace University
Financial Peace University is a nine-lesson class taught by financial expert Dave Ramsey that will teach you how to take control of your money. Entertaining videos with an in-depth workbook, this is a great way to learn biblical principles to manage your money. For information about the next class, contact Zach Miller by using the below form.
Daily Needs
Lotsa Helping Hands
Are you or someone you know hospitalized, housebound, or unable to accomplish a small householder project? Lotsa Helping Hands (LHH) may be able to assist you. On a limited basis, LHH provides meals, periodic transportation, and even assistance with small repairs.
If you have a need, please follow these four steps:
- Ask your family for help, as appropriate.
- Bring your need to your Sunday School class, Renew Group, or Bible Study.
- If Steps One and Two don’t work, reach out to [name], Care Net Director or the Church Office.
- Put your request in writing.
Aging Parents
Caring for aging parents can have a significant impact on individuals and families. We’re here to help provide support and encouragement as you walk that path.
Respite Care
If you need an occasional break to run errands or catch your breath, we invite you to arrange Respite Care though our Lotsa Helping Hands (LHH) ministry. Submit a request online.
Elder Care Workshop
Knowing how best to care for your aging parent can be hard. Knowing when and how to step in, what services are available, how to navigate the Medicare and Medicaid systems—all of these (and more) are new skills for you to learn. We’re here to help and guide you. For more information and dates for our next seminar, contact us by using the below form.
