Upcoming Events at EP

Pray First Monthly Prayer

Join us on the First Sunday of the month, from 6 to 7 p.m. in the Chapel as we pray for the Holy Spirit’s transforming work in us and through us as a church. We will be praying for the congregation, ministries of the church, leadership of the church, and outreach to the world around us. This is a wonderful opportunity to join as a church family and lift our voices to our Lord. Questions about how to participate? Contact Brian and Leigh Miller.

Donate to EP’s ‘Crates for Ukraine’ Team

EP’s Missions Committee is partnering with MTW and Presbyterian churches in Poland and Ukraine to help meet the dire needs for wound care and personal items for communities in war-torn Eastern Ukraine. We are accepting donations for the local team we are sending to Krakow, Poland to purchase and deliver much-needed supplies. To financially support EP’s team please use this link or make a check out to EP Church with ‘Crates for Ukraine’ in the memo line. If you have questions, please contact Jeremy Lee.

Project Backpack

A practical way we show our love and care for the children from Woodside Gardens and Iglesia De Dios is by providing backpacks with school supplies. We get a great deal by purchasing in bulk, and we are asking sponsors to donate online by selecting the fund ‘Project Backpack’ in the drop-down menu, or write ‘backpacks’ in the memo line of your check. A donation of $30 will cover the backpack and supplies for each child. Join our team of helpers as we assemble backpacks in the Fellowship Hall on August 11, from 9-11 a.m. and deliver them to Woodside Gardens that afternoon. For more info please contact Laurie Nelson.

Fall 2022 Women’s Bible Study – Experiencing the Promise of the book of Revelation

In our Fall Women’s Bible Study on Wednesday mornings, we will explore the book of Revelation and its call to patient endurance as God’s sovereign plans are worked out in the world. Nancy Guthrie’s book, Blessed, will guide us through our study, showing us that Revelation is less about when Jesus will return and more about who we are to be, what we are to do, and what we can expect to endure as we wait for Jesus’s return. With a friendly and engaging tone, Blessed takes the fear, intimidation, and confusion away from studying Revelation. Our study begins Wednesday, September 21, in the Parlor at EP. You can register and purchase a copy of the Bible Study book here for $10. Childcare will be provided for children 6 months – Pre-K.

Find Help and Give Help

Whether you need financial or food assistance or you want to serve our community, find the information you need on our Find Help page. There you’ll see information on the West Annapolis and Woodside Garden Pantries, financial assistance, and a prayer request form.

Renew – Small Groups for Fall 2022

Our Renew Groups are small groups that meet regularly where we encourage one another, study God’s Word together, and find ways to reach out to the community as the hands and feet of Jesus. Our Renew Groups will begin again in September, and we will share details in the coming weeks. As you consider how you might be involved, we would love to know if you are interested in joining, hosting, or leading a group. Click or tap the button below to help us find some great options for you in Renew this fall.
