Seasoned by Grace Christmas Luncheon

Come join us at our annual Seasoned By Grace Christmas Luncheon at Hellas Restaurant in Millersville (8498 Veterans Highway) on December 10, from noon to 3 p.m. Join us for a great time of fellowship, singing, fun, and hearing from Pastor John Wood as he shares God’s Word with us as we celebrate our Lord’s birth together. Dinner is $35 and you may pay online or at the door. Please sign up below, and do let us know if you need help covering the cost. We want to see you there! Call Tom Beall at 410-703-8905 for more info.

EP Kids Gingerbread Party

Families, come to the first annual EP Kids Gingerbread Party! Drop in to make your gingerbread house, hear a Christmas story, make Christmas cards for missionaries, and just enjoy the company of our friends. Come any time on Saturday, December 10, between 10 and 11:30 a.m. Please be sure to bring a milk carton or orange juice container as we don’t have extras. If you have extras, please bring them! Please also bring one bag of candy to decorate per child. Examples include M&Ms, skittles, shoelace licorice, red hots, starlight mints, candy canes, sprinkles, Necco wafers, and Frosted Mini Wheats (snow-covered roof shingles). These will make our houses extra special! Sign up below or contact Bridget Johnson if you have questions.

Angel Tree Gifts for Children

EP will once again join with Prison Fellowship’s Angel Tree ministry and our local community to provide Christmas gifts and spread the joy of knowing Jesus Christ to children of incarcerated parents. All are invited to stop by the Angel Tree in the Foyer through December 1 to learn how you, your family, or your group can purchase toy and clothing gifts for our Angels. Gifts are due back at church by Sunday, December 11, and our student team will be delivering the gifts this year. For more information, email Gayle Blizzard or phone her at 443-433-8246.

Pray First Monthly Prayer

Join us for our next ‘Pray First’ on the first Sunday of the month, from 6 to 7 p.m. in the Chapel as we pray for the Holy Spirit’s transforming work in us and through us as a church. We will be praying for the congregation, ministries of the church, leadership of the church, and outreach to the world around us. This is a wonderful opportunity to join as a church family and lift our voices to our Lord. Questions about how to participate? Contact Brian and Leigh Miller.

Christmas Eve Services

As we observe the Advent season together, we look forward to our Christmas Eve services at 5 and 7 p.m. Both services will have a similar format with readings and carols and all ages are welcome. We would be delighted to have you join us on Christmas Eve to reflect upon and celebrate our Savior’s birth.

New Year’s Eve Ice Skating

The longstanding tradition of an all-church New Year’s Eve skating party is back! EP has reserved the Bowie Ice Arena on Saturday, December 31, from 4-6 p.m.and everyone is invited. Come to skate or simply enjoy connecting with others. Admission to the rink is free, and skate rental is $3. Concessions will not be open, but we invite you to bring snacks and drinks. The Bowie Ice Arena is located at 3330 Northview Dr, Bowie, MD 20716. If you have questions, please contact Drew Wilkins.

Register for Fall Renew Groups

Our Renew Groups are small groups that meet regularly where we encourage one another, study God’s Word together and find ways to reach out to the community as the hands and feet of Jesus.
