Sadly, in our current culture many are targeted by scams from the internet, Facebook, phone calls, mail, people on the street, or on television. If you would like to learn about ways we can protect ourselves, join us Saturday, March 30, at 10 a.m. in the Chapel. Seasoned by Grace has invited CPL Megan Ott from the Community Relations Division Crime Prevention Unit of the AACO police to present ways to recognize and avoid these scam attempts. All are invited. Bring your friends. There is no charge, but please sign up using the link below. For questions, please contact Bill Sharkey or Tom Beall.
EP’s Mission Conference 2024: ‘To Seek and Save the Lost’ is set for April 13-14, and will feature Dan Iverson (MTW Japan) along with ten missionaries serving globally or locally. Hear about their work in Cuba, Canada, Puerto Rico, West Africa, Ethiopia, and other countries as well as on college campuses in our region. Join us for breakfast at 9 a.m. on Saturday followed by a family-focused Mission Fest, where we will meet the missionaries and see their displays. We’ll have some fun activities to engage the kids. On Sunday evening, join us for a Mission Conference Dinner at 4:30 p.m. Mission Fest follows with break-out sessions with our missionary guests. Everyone is invited to attend the breakfast, dinner, or both. View the conference schedule and sign up using the button below. For questions, please contact Clif McClain or Kristen MacDonald.
Show Hope’s ‘Hope for the Journey’ Conference is a simulcast event hosted at EP. The conference encourages and offers resources to parents, caregivers, and families meeting the needs of children entrusted to them through adoption and/or foster care. The conference also serves churches and organizations in their ministries to and support of these children and families. Come and learn about working to reduce barriers that stand between children and places of security, healing, and hope. The conference will dive into the principles of Trust-Based Relational Intervention® (TBRI®), which is a care model for children impacted by trauma. We will connect this care model to the gospel. Join us Friday, April 19, from 6:45-8:45 p.m. and Saturday, April 20, from 8:15 a.m.-5 p.m. in the Chapel. Registration is $15. Click or tap the button below to sign up. If you have questions, please contact Carolyn Beall or Laurie Nelson.
Renew Groups are welcoming new members. We have groups for men, groups for women, and co-ed groups. Groups meet at a variety of times and locations throughout the week and are a wonderful way to engage with the life of our church. Find out more by clicking the link below. If you have questions, contact Cheryl Mullis.
We would love to see everyone (ages 20s-70s) take just two weeks per year to help with the little ones during the 10:30 a.m. worship service. If you are ready to bless our families and be blessed yourself in the process, please view the openings and sign up with the button below or stop by the EP Kids table in the Foyer on Sundays. If you have questions, please contact Bridget Johnson.
Join us for Pray First the first Sunday of the month, from 6 to 7 p.m. in the Chapel as we pray for the Holy Spirit’s transforming work in us and through us as a church. We will be praying for the congregation, ministries of the church, leadership of the church, and outreach to the world around us. This is a wonderful opportunity to join as a church family and lift our voices to our Lord. Questions about how to participate? Contact Brian and Leigh Miller.
Whether you need financial or food assistance or you want to serve our community, find the information you need on our Find Help page. There you’ll see information on the West Annapolis and Woodside Garden Pantries, financial assistance, and a prayer request form.
Here are the services and events we have planned as we reflect on the depth of Jesus’s love for us this Easter Week.
On March 24, we are conducting a Palm Sunday service at 10:30 a.m. in person and online.
On March 28, we will host an in-person service at 7 p.m. in the Sanctuary, where we will celebrate the Lord’s Supper together.
As we remember Jesus’s death on the cross, on Friday, March 29, we will host a Tenebrae service at 8 p.m. in person in the Sanctuary.
On Sunday, March 31, we will celebrate Jesus’s resurrection with in-person services at 9 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. Both services will be live streamed. Childcare up to age five is provided at 9 a.m.
The Tenebrae worship music set is posted for listening both before and after the Tenebrae service. Note: You will need the Spotify app to listen to the playlist. Follow the ‘Play on Spotify’ link and you will be prompted to download it.
Families, on Saturday, April 6, bring the kids to our ‘He is Risen—Kites on the Field’ event. Arrive any time between 10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. and join us to celebrate Jesus’ resurrection by building and flying a kite! Come discover what the kite has to do with Easter. Bring your friends and family to fly kites, hear a story, make crafts, and have a scavenger hunt. If the weather is good, pack a picnic to enjoy with friends on the field.
Our church building is open by appointment. To schedule an appointment, please call 410-266-8090, option 1.
