Upcoming Events at EP
Winter Coat Drive
We are collecting winter coats and winter clothing items for the West Annapolis Pop Up Pantry. Please donate by dropping off new or gently used winter coats, and new socks, gloves, hats, and scarves. Wooden collection boxes labeled for the Drive are outside in the Portico. We will distribute items to Pantry guests on January 20. If you have questions, contact Laurie Nelson.
Sign up to Donate Blood in January
On Wednesday, January 26, EP will be again hosting an AAMC Blood Drive to assist in supporting our larger community. If you are between the ages of 17 and 74, a minimum of 110 pounds, and in good health, you are eligible to donate blood. Time slots are available between noon and 5 p.m. Please sign up for a time using the button below. For questions or more information, reach out to Nanci Hulting at 410-507-0660 or [email protected].
Help with Winter Relief 2022
From January 31-February 7 we will have the privilege of caring for 15 guests who are homeless and we would love to have you join us in ministering to and fellowshipping with them. We will need help with set-up and tear-down, food prep and serving, men and women night hosts, and help desk. (Set-up is on Sunday, January 30 at noon following worship.) Volunteer Orientation (mandatory) is Monday, January 24, from 7 to 8 p.m. in the Cove. Sign up to be part of the team of helpers here or contact Laurie Nelson to sign up.
Pray First Monthly Prayer
Join us online on the first Sunday of the month from 6 to 7 p.m. to pray for our church and God’s leading for our Senior Pastor search. This is a wonderful opportunity to join as a church family and lift our voices to our Lord. Questions about how to participate? Contact Brian and Leigh Miller.
Join a Renew Group
Joining a Renew Group is one of the best ways to engage in the life of our church. In a group, you will be encouraged to learn more about Jesus and live out your faith. Join a group for our Winter/Spring sermon series on the Sermon on the Mount beginning on January 9.
Holding onto Hope – Women’s Retreat
We all search for hope, but often feel blocked from the fulfillment of it. Together we will find the source of our hope in the character and nature of our God who always keeps his promises. Join us in peaceful Sandy Cove from Friday, March 18, through Sunday, March 20, as we rest, play, worship, and learn together. Don’t miss the chance to get away and spend some time with Jesus. In addition to our sessions and small group time, there will be time for hiking, shopping, and spending time with friends. Register here or below by February 20, or reach out to Cheryl Mullis or Laura Dingess for more information.
Find Help and Give Help
Whether you need financial or food assistance or you want to serve our community, find the information you need on our Find Help page. There you’ll see information on the West Annapolis and Woodside Garden Pantries, financial assistance, and a prayer request form.
