Mission Conference 2024, April 13-14

EP’s Mission Conference 2024: ‘To Seek and Save the Lost’ is set for April 13-14, and will feature Dan Iverson (MTW Japan) along with ten missionaries serving globally or locally. Hear about their work in Cuba, Canada, Puerto Rico, West Africa, Ethiopia, and other countries as well as on college campuses in our region. We’re hosting a breakfast at 9 a.m. on Saturday followed by a family-focused Mission Fest at 10 a.m., where we will meet the missionaries and see their displays. We’ll have some fun activities to engage the kids. On Sunday evening, we’ll host a Mission Conference Dinner at 4:30 p.m. Mission Fest follows at 5:30, with break-out sessions with our missionary guests. While the breakfast and dinner sign-ups are full, there is no need to sign up for the Mission Fest portions of the Conference. All are welcome to join us for Mission Fest. View the conference schedule below. For questions, please contact Clif McClain or Kristen MacDonald.

‘Hope for the Journey’ Conference for Caregivers

Show Hope’s ‘Hope for the Journey’ Conference is a simulcast event hosted at EP. The conference encourages and offers resources to parents, caregivers, and families meeting the needs of children entrusted to them through adoption and/or foster care. The conference also serves churches and organizations in their ministries to and support of these children and families. Come and learn about working to reduce barriers that stand between children and places of security, healing, and hope. The conference will dive into the principles of Trust-Based Relational Intervention® (TBRI®), which is a care model for children impacted by trauma. We will connect this care model to the gospel. Join us Friday, April 19, from 6:45-8:45 p.m. and Saturday, April 20, from 8:15 a.m.-5 p.m. in the Chapel. Registration is $15. Click or tap the button below to sign up. If you have questions, please contact Carolyn Beall or Laurie Nelson.

Session Information Meeting, April 25

Your EP elders wish to invite you to a Session Information meeting on Thursday, April 25 at 7 p.m. in the Chapel. It is the Session’s stated intent to host regular periodic meetings to inform the congregation about the ongoing work of the Session and to provide a forum for feedback, asking questions, and sharing ideas. All are invited. If you have questions, please contact Paul DeRoo at [email protected].

Join a Renew Group

Renew Groups are welcoming new members. We have groups for men, groups for women, and co-ed groups. Groups meet at a variety of times and locations throughout the week and are a wonderful way to engage with the life of our church. Find out more by clicking the link below. If you have questions, contact Cheryl Mullis.

Preschool Helpers During Worship Service

We would love to see everyone (ages 20s-70s) take just two weeks per year to help with the little ones during the 10:30 a.m. worship service. If you are ready to bless our families and be blessed yourself in the process, please view the openings and sign up with the button below or stop by the EP Kids table in the Foyer on Sundays. If you have questions, please contact Bridget Johnson.

Pray First Monthly Prayer

Join us for Pray First the first Sunday of the month, from 6 to 7 p.m. in the Chapel as we pray for the Holy Spirit’s transforming work in us and through us as a church. We will be praying for the congregation, ministries of the church, leadership of the church, and outreach to the world around us. This is a wonderful opportunity to join as a church family and lift our voices to our Lord. Questions about how to participate? Contact Brian and Leigh Miller.
