The Walk and 5k Run for Life is a fun, family-friendly event that gives everyone an opportunity to be STRONG, COURAGEOUS, and stand up for women and babies in our community!

This event raises funds to support the work of Wellspring Life Ministry: caring for women facing unexpected pregnancies, giving them the support they need to choose Life, and sharing the ultimate hope found only in the gospel. The Ministry’s annual Walk and Run for Life is on Saturday, September 19, 2026 and will be held at Mid Atlantic Community Church at 2485 Davidsonville Rd in Gambrills.

Runners and walkers alike will enjoy the beautiful grounds of Mid Atlantic Community church, including a relaxing 5k trail that winds around the church property through the woods and in open fields.

Please note: All participants need to register, whether you are walking, running the 5k, or participating in a children’s race. You can register online, or you can register on race day onsite.

• 8:00am Onsite Registration begins
• 9:00am Timed 5k Trail Run begins
• 9:30am Life Walk Begins
• 10:15 am Children’s Races start (free)
• 11:00am Awards Ceremony

This is a rain or shine event (we’re praying for sunny skies!) and will not be canceled or postponed.

The Walk and Run features:

• 5k timed trail run (strollers are not permitted on the course)
• Family LIFE Walk (strollers welcome)
• Kids Dash, kids ages 6-7
• Preschool Gallop, for kids ages 4-5
• Toddler Trot, for kids under 3
• Remote Participation option, for those who cannot join us in person
• New this year: Doggy Friends
